What activities does Augustine offer outside of Sunday morning services?               Programming is tailored to individual interests and in many cases, changes as people change. How can I get involved at Augustine?          There are many ways to get involved at Augustine. You may wish to become involved with one of our Teams, with Sunday Worship, as a volunteer at the Oak Table or with some of our other Programming. For more information on getting involved, contact the church office, (204) 284-2250, augustine.uc@mts.net or speak to the Minister on Sunday morning.

Is Augustine open to GLBT persons?               At Augustine we welcome all persons into the full life and ministry of the church. As an Affirming Congregation, Augustine is a community that welcomes, recognizes and accept lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and trans-gendered people in our midst as a full and equal participants in all aspects of life, work and worship. Does Augustine have non-member weddings?    Here at Augustine, we welcome inquiries from all who wish to celebrate marriage in a Christian setting. Can I bring in my own Minister to officiate my wedding at Augustine?                                   A marriage service at Augustine will be a United Church service and will be presided over by a United Church Minister. Involvement of other clergy in wedding services is at the discretion of the Minister officiating at the wedding.

How do I go about booking my wedding at Augustine?                                                    If you are interested in having your wedding at Augustine, please contact the church office at (204) 284-2250 or augustine.uc@mts.net. We will check availability of your wedding date, and then will assist you in setting up a meeting with the Minister who would be available to officiate at your wedding. After you have met with the Minister, to book the wedding we require a $100 booking deposit which is applied toward your fees. This deposit will hold the date and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
