![]() Seeking to discover the contours of justice, working hard to act justly as individuals and a congregation, being challenged out of our complacency and complicity on a regular basis, we are genuinely a justice-seeking faith community. As a church and as individuals we support a variety of justice-oriented concerns, including (external links): We are also the physical home of The Oak Table, a weekday afternoon hospitality ministry with lower income folk in the Osborne Village area.
We mount a weekly Action Table, where we place petitions to government, intervention letters, donation boxes and such with respect to timely appeals and critical actions.
We march proudly each year in the Gay Pride Parade behind a banner proclaiming who we are, and many of our number are present at public vigils, demonstrations and peace marches.
We also are very careful with our use of language.
We continue to grow in this area, but it is central to who we are.
