Worship at Augustine tends to

blend the traditional with the less conventional.

For example, Sunday morning worship can include:

• decorative art

• dramas

• sermons punctuated with instrumental music

• participatory theme discussions

• varieties of special music

• "Prayers of the People" spoken by the people

• a high degree of lay leadership, usually in casual dress

On the other hand, it also incorporates:

• a choir

• organ music

• hymns

• sacraments conducted in robes

• a traditional responsive litany shared during communion

In addition, worship happens in other ways and at other less predictable times in settings both inside and outside the church building.
